While 40 prestigious sailors were taking on the Everest of the seas, our SUN FAST 3200 "TEAM CAPTAIN NASON'S" competed in the Voiles d'Automne 🍁, a 3-day regatta in the gulf organized by the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez.
66 boats took to the water, ready to battle in tough conditions 💪 on Saturday, with over twenty knots of wind 💨 and a well-formed sea. Two races were completed, featuring intense upwind duels in the breeze, followed by thrilling downwind surfs, and, as the cherry 🍒 on top, a speed peak of 14.7 knots under Code 0. Conditions in which the boat truly showed its potential… A thought for our competitor "MIKALA," who suffered a starboard-right incident 😱, resulting in significant damage and forcing them to withdraw for the rest of the weekend 😢.

Despite the race committee’s relentless efforts 🧐, even trying to launch races earlier in the residual nighttime thermals, the whims of Æolus prevailed… Over the next two days, every race start ended with the N flag hoisted, as calm winds brought everything to a halt.

With only two valid races, "TEAM CAPTAIN NASON'S" secured a 2nd place finish 🥈 in a tie on points, just behind the Elan 410 "INTREPIDES" in the OSB class.
